Viral
diseases can’t be cured because these are caused by viruses which attack and attach
with the DNA of human. Thus, killing the virus means killing the DNA eventually killing the patient.
Scientists
are failed to develop treatment and/or medicine for the cure of viral diseases
because viruses change their DNA rapidly and before the scientist develop a
medicine for specific virus, it would have changed its DNA/properties.
Example:
·
HIV,
·
Measles,
·
Polio,
·
Chickenpox.
·
Dengue/Hemorrhage Fever etc
Polio:
Polio is one of
the most hazardous viral diseases. The vaccine for polio has been developed
which helps controlling the virus.
Pakistan is among the only three countries where
this virus is still prevailing. However, the government of Pakistan has taken
number of initiatives to eliminate this curse from Pakistan. Nonetheless the illiteracy
and lack of awareness is stumbling stone specially in the Khyber Pakhton Khwa
(KPK).
Dengue
/ Hemorrhage Fever:
It is
one of the deadliest viral diseases which could lead to intense internal
bleeding and could result in death. It occurs when a person is bitten by the mosquito
which is infected by the virus.
Recommendations
by PMDC and WHO:
·
Don’t take Brufen (tablet/medicine).
·
Increase liquid intake (fresh juices).
·
Maintain temperature at 101 degrees
Fahrenheit.
·
Apply cold water over the body if the
temperature reaches 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
